Place You Should Visit
When Traveling In Pulau Tioman
Pulau Tioman is a small island lies off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia in the state of Pahang. This island is an idyllic spot for leisurely days under the sun.
Swim in its emerald waters, enjoy a stroll by the beach or be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. The warm waters and good visibility make Tioman a paradise for divers. There are many dive sites which have corals, sea fans, sea sponges as well as shipwrecks. Snorkellers can swim alongside huge Napoleon Wrasse, Golden Striped Trevally, Bumphead Parrotfish and shoals of Fusiliers. The island is covered in tropical rainforests, home to exotic butterflies, lizards and monkeys. On the east coast, the Juara Turtle Project is a hatchery that protects and studies sea turtles.
