Our Mission

SKS Airways’ mission is to provide a safe, fast and efficient domestic and commuter services operation, able to generate sustainable income for our shareholders and employees and provide consistent quality and timely service to our customers.

Our Vision

SKS Airways aim to be a leading air service operator in Malaysia and ultimately, to be a major player in the regional and international airline market.

Business Model

SKS Airways will be adopting a ‘hybrid’ business model where the airline has a low-cost business strategy but provides some service features from a full-service airline. Our aim is to have low operating costs so that any savings can be passed on to customers for more competitive ticket price. The characteristics of SKS Airways hybrid business model include:

  • Operating short -haul, point-to-point flights
  • Use secondary airports to optimise the costs
  • High utilisation of aircraft and quick aircraft turnaround
  • Purchase of ticket mainly via internet to save the distributions costs. However, travellers may also purchase the flight tickets through our call centre, airport sales offices and travel agents.
  • Limited ‘frills’
  • Choice of tier-fares or pay little extra for more comfort and better service
  • Add-on sales such as seat selection, purchase of excess baggage, purchase of travel insurance and so forth.
  • May offer networks and connecting flights via code sharing in the future
  • Offering aircraft for charter

Fleet

SKS Airways shall initially operate using four DHC6 Twin-Otter, a tough and reliable turboprop aircraft with Short Take Off Landing (STOL) capabilities. These aircraft are deemed reliable in providing alternative air transportation especially to the remote island resorts which are only accessible via surface or boats.

SKS Airways will be collaborating with major tourism industry players in developing attractive and affordable holiday packages to suit your holiday requirement.
